My best vacations
My best vacations were in 2019, we went with my family to the south of Chile, specifically to Pucón and Villarrica.
We were there for a month, I think, I don't remember it well.
It is my most precious vacation because it is the first vacation where we do not fight as a family, we get together a lot.
I practiced many water activities with my younger brother that filled me with adrenaline (extreme sports)
Also, the south of Chile is beautiful, people walk at a different pace, calmer and more peaceful. I would love to move there, but because of the cold and the rains I don't think it will happen.
One extra thing I could tell is that on that trip I almost drowned:
With my cousin and my brother we went to do Hidrospped, a sport that consists of going downstream on a small board (see image).
It looks easy, but it is not so easy because you must have outside to correctly direct the board and thus be able to avoid the rocks of the river.
Which I didn't do very well because I got stranded on a giant rock jajaj
I had to go down turning with the board on the rock, I fell in a rapid that did not let me go to the surface.
Two things saved me: the first was that I didn't let go of the board at any time (it worked like a float) and the second was that underwater I found peace instead of despair.
To say that I almost drowned listen traumatic, but for me it was beautiful, because I felt part of the river and protected by it.
I'm lucky in so many ways after this
I think your experience is very incredible, connecting with the water and somehow understanding that you are also nature
